Excursion to the lead mine

August’s excursion will take us to the Fee Donald Lead Mine by Strontian.

21st August 2017. Meet at 9.30am at the Corran Ferry carpark where we’ll arrange car sharing and catch the 9.45am ferry crossing.

The excursion will involve a walk up through the Ariundle Oak woods to see the surface workings of the lead mine.

Please bring: Walking boots, waterproofs, packed lunch, cameras, binoculars, walking poles if desired.

This excursion will have more walking involved than usual.

Cost: A £5 donation to Lochaber Geopark, a suggested £5 donation for transport if sharing.
