Upcoming Excursion: Isle of Kerrera

The Isle of Kerrera is an interesting island; just off of Oban it has heavily folded Dalradian rocks (540 million years old) that have basal conglomerate siting on top of them uncomformably. On the trip you will visit fossil fish beds, lava flows and their associated intrusions. After exploring all of this there are  fabulous cakes on offer at the tea shop.
