Job Descriptions – Lochaber Geopark – October 2016
Marketing and retail officer
Responsible to: General Manager
Hours: 21 per week with core hours’ requirement
Salary: £20K pa pro rata
Description:
Operation and running of LGT. Specifically tasked with:
– Facilities management of Visitor Centre and Darwin’s Rest
– Financial management of retail outlets (VC, DR and online shop)
– Retail activities including procurement, branding and presentation of both VC and DR
– Liaison with Made in Lochaber/local retail opportunities
– Collaboration with volunteer co-ordinator
– Line management of/support to DR manager
– Social Media and Marketing support for LGT
Association project officer
Responsible to: General Manager
Hours: 21 per week with core hours’ requirement
Salary: £20K pa pro rata
Description:
Operation and running of LGA. Specifically tasked with:
– LGA project work as arises
– Office management for 55A office
– Financial management of LGA
– Support to fundraising
– Support to Geological Interpretation programmes
– Development of education/outreach programmes
– Support development of the Info. Point network
– Website maintenance
– Social Media and Marketing support for LGA
