Winter Geology Talks
An Introduction to the Geology of Scotland.
Jim Blair of Lochaber Geopark will be running a series of short winter geology talks at the National Trust Visitor Centre in Glencoe. The talks will be illustrated with specimens, maps and photographs. There will be opportunities to examine materials and discuss questions. Our thanks go to the NTS Glencoe for the use of their facilities.
Beginning on Friday 18th November with further dates following on:
Friday 16th December
Friday 20th January 2017
Friday 17th February
Meeting time: 10.00 am in the cafe @ NTS Glencoe.
The talk itself will take place in the Exhibition room.
Lunch – 12.30 also in the cafe.
On fine weather days may involve a short geology walk.
The cost is £5.00 pp, contribution to Lochaber Geopark
